Effective communication is the only bridge between where your business is and where you want it to go, yet most people aren't as confident as they would like to be when standing in front of an audience of 1 or 100. Are you? Whether it's communicating your vision with your team, your brand with your market or your value with potential clients, many business professionals feel they fall short and something is lost in translation.  

From January to May, presented by Scotiabank, BDO Canada, and Barriston Law, join in on a series of four workshops led by communication expert Jan Bailey of Ovation Speaker Training where you will discover strategies to focus your nerves, a repeatable framework so you feel prepared every time you speak, and opportunities to uncover your true speaking personality.

Whether you can attend one social, or all four, opportunities for making new connections and learning new ways to be a confident communicator is sure to happen!

SOCIAL 1: Tuesday January 31, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

What's happening this month? Summon Your VOICE!  Everyone gets nervous before they speak in front of others or on camera. Everyone. Learn some practical strategies to harness your nerves and channel your energy. Expect to laugh along and loosen up in this workshop designed to be a foundation for any speaking.

WHERE? Sandbox Centre, 24 Maple Ave 2nd Floor, Barrie, ON. 

Who should join? Female-identified and non-binary, business owners, leaders, founders, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and all other women in business looking to grow, improve, and develop. Haven't joined our Women in Biz group yet? In this final session, you have the opportunity to take to the stage and share your 'Self' with the audience – the perfect way to solidify some skills and celebrate your story.
